A Springfield woman has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for causing a fatal crash in 2023.
Associate Judge Rudolph Braud on Thursday sentenced 32-year-old Marina Rhone. She pleaded guilty in March to one count of aggravated driving under the influence.
Police said witnesses reported Rhone sped on Second Street in Springfield and drove around cars stopped at a red light at Cook Street before colliding with a pickup truck driven by Kevin Crews Sr. He died five days later.
