The Petersburg man who was involved in an hours long standoff with police recently has been denied pre-trial release.
32-year-old Justin Thornley was in court on Tuesday for a pre-trial detention hearing where the judge overseeing the case denied Thornley’s release, ordering that he remain in the Menard County Jail as the case proceeds.
Thornley who was arrested on May 23rd after the standoff, is next scheduled to be in court on June 16th
