It was a busy weekend for the Springfield Police Department as they were able to recover nine firearms via five different investigations.
On top of the nine recovered firearms they also arrested six people in connection to those firearms.
The Springfield Police department noted it was a collaborative effort and is another example of the department’s commitment to keeping guns off the streets.
