The trial of a Springfield man accused of hiding his wife’s body in a trash can has been continued until August.
Adam Corbin is now 60.
He was charged in November with concealment of a death and abuse of a corpse.
Police discovered the body of his wife Nancy during a welfare check at their home on 11th Street.
Police reports show Corbin allegedly continued to receive state funds for his wife’s care after her death.
Judge John Madonia granted a defense motion on Monday to continue the case until August 10. Corbin is in the Sangamon County Jail.
