The Women’s Pro Baseball League commissioner says the circuit’s successful opening weekend is just the start of a big inaugural season.
Large crowds packed Robin Roberts Stadium for the first two games of professional women’s baseball in 70 years on Saturday and Sunday.
WPBL Commissioner Justine Siegel said the high talent level was on display.
Siegel said operations will continue to improve.
Games resume at Robin Roberts Stadium on Wednesday through Sunday this week with two games on Saturday.
