Ward Three Alderman Roy Williams is calling for patience from all sides of the continuing dispute over a landlord registry ballot measure for the City of Springfield.
Petition signatures were delivered to the City Clerk’s Office in early August to put the long-debated landlord licensing, registration and inspection topic on the ballot for November.
At Tuesday night’s Springfield City Council Meeting, Williams encouraged members of local landlord associations to collaborate with the city if the ballot measure passes.
