The Village of Sherman has a new police chief.
Aaron Entringer was officially appointed to lead the Sherman Police Department last week. Entringer served as interim chief following the retirement of longtime Police Chief Craig Bangert at the end of June.
Entringer rose through the Sherman police ranks as a patrol officer, sergeant and deputy chief.
