Lincoln’s New Salem Site will be hosting nine candlelight walks in October.
The walks which begin on Oct 2nd will feature more than 200 candle lanterns illuminating the way throughout the site. Building interiors will be illuminated by candlelight. Hours for the event run from 5 PM to 7:30 PM.
Admission and parking are free, although visitors are welcome to donate to support the site. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Railsplitter Gifts and Eatery. Free hot chocolate will be available while supplies last.
