Regulators are looking to expand the state’s voluntary self-exclusion program for gamblers to Illinois’ extensive network of video gambling terminals.
Problem gamblers can now ban themselves from most of the state’s offerings including online sportsbooks, casinos and the Illinois Lottery.
The Illinois Gaming Board proposed new rules on Thursday to bring the state’s video gambling terminals under the program by requiring identity verification before players can purchase vouchers at video gambling locations.
