Some states have done lotteries, money, and even coupons as an incentive to get residents to vaccinated. West Virginia decided to go in a completely different direction that can only be described as the most West Virginia of bonuses imaginable.
The state is giving away pick-up trucks, life-long hunting licenses and hunting rifles.
So far 41% of West Virginia is fully vaccinated, so they’re hoping this will entice more West Virginians to get a shot.
