A Reddit user recently went through all of Metallica’s songs and reviewed the lyrics to the find the most commonly used words. Excluded were ‘and,’ ‘the,’ plus ‘yeah’ because that is James’ favorite word in the world.
What they found was NEVER, ONE, and SEE were the most across the catalog. NEVER was used 146 times, ONE 127 times, and SEE 124 times. AWAY, TAKE, and LIVE were next on the list.
