By Music News Jul 26, 2021 | 7:00 PM

DaBaby took to social media to address the backlash he received from homophobic comments he made during his Rolling Loud performance on Sunday night (July 25th). During his set, DaBaby said, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS…any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that make you die in 2, 3 weeks, put your cell phone light in the air.”

He later added, “Fellas, if you ain’t sucking no d**k in the parking lot, put your cell phone light in the air.”

In a video posted online, DaBaby said that his words were only meant to amp up the crowd and that his gay fans participated because his gay fans “don’t got f***ing AIDS.”
