Meet Dewey Love. Yes, love is part of his name and it fits. Our volunteers love this guy and he’s looking for a family to love. Unfortunately Dewey is currently our longest resident . He’s been waiting patiently at Sangamon County Animal Control since June 22nd for a family to call his own.
Dewey is a 2 year old pit mix dog. His face is tan with black markings that make him so handsome. He knows some commands like sit and stay and needs some leash training. Dewey is a big love bug who enjoys attention and hanging out with people.
Come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control to meet Dewey Love and you’ll fall in love with him, too. He’ll be ready to meet you Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
