Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week has been waiting in her kennel for a month to meet her new family. That’s unbelievable because Lucy is as sweet as a dog can be!
This little girl has had a rough start. It’s obvious she’s had several litters. Despite the rough start Lucy loves people. She’s a medium sized girl, about 30 pounds and she walks nicely on a leash. Lucy likes to stop during her walk and stand up and hug the person who is walking her. If you stop to sit down during a walk Lucy is ready to climb up on your lap for some snuggles.
Lucy is 4 years old and will be a wonderful companion for years for the person who is willing to share their heart and home. Are you that person? Lucy is waiting to meet you at Sangamon County Animal Control Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
