20th Villas East resident dies

A 20th resident of the Villas East in Sherman who tested positive for COVID-19 has died, Sangamon County public health officials said Saturday.The victim, a woman in her 90s, tested positive on April 23 and died Friday night at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, county spokesman Jeff Wilhite confirmed.Two residents of the senior care facility remain hospitalized, with one each at St. John’s and Memorial Medical Center.
