Seems a lot of us have already started Christmas shopping.
Why is that? We’re bored.
Yeah, a new survey out says that 50% of Americans have already started their holiday shopping online thanks to being bored at home. 15% started their shopping as early as August. It’s expected that 48% of holiday shopping will be done online this year thanks to the pandemic.
Walmart says their best deals will be online, and be spread through the holiday season. The company is hiring 20,000 seasonal workers for its dot-com sales. Walmart says it’s ready for the gifts we’ll be buying that reflect our new normal — They’ll have more loungewear, grills and bikes. You know, the stuff we’ve been using while at home.
