Springfield Police report several investigations have resulted in the arrests of four Springfield men on drug trafficking charges.
Police said 23-year-old Dontrell Young was arrested after a search last Thursday in the 1000 block of South 25th Street turned up 18 grams of crack cocaine, a firearm, scales and packaging.
Another search on Monday in the 2000 block of East Stuart Street and a storage unit resulted in the arrests of 36-year-old Darren Damerell, 53-year-old Devonee Gray and 20-year-old Taurus Chapman.
Police said the second search turned up suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine as well as six firearms, ammunition and more than $10,000 cash.
