Like the rest of the music world, Disturbed frontman David Draiman continues to mourn the loss of Eddie Van Halen. He told Hard Drive: “My heart literally hurts. My God. Van Halen was the second record I ever bought (laughs). I had never heard and I don't think anybody had ever heard anyone play like that before. Eddie Van Halen created the guitar god (laughs). He was it. I'm just devastated by the loss. I just hope that the next generation gives us another one like him.”
Eddie died on October 6th at the age of 65 after a battle with lung cancer, according to his ex-wife, Valerie Bertinelli.
