2020 was definitely the year of the takeout. Grubhub helped with the that. They released their ‘Year In Food’ report looking at the top foods ordered via their platform.
The Top Three trending dishes were spicy chicken sandwiches (also #1 in Illinois), chicken burrito bowls, and chicken wings.
Top three side dishes were French Fries, Onion Rings, and gluten-free tater totes.
Top desserts were apple pies, fudge sundae, and caramel crme Brule.
A couple other highlights from the reports include America’s favorite burger being garlic mushroom and America’s favorite pizza, Hawaiian.
