Lil Baby Rushed Offstage As Man Shot During Memphis Concert

A man was shot and critically injured during Lil Baby’s concert in Memphis on Thursday night at FedExForum. The rapper was mid-performance when the shots were fired, and was quickly rushed off the stage. A concertgoer named Clarissa Johnson told WREG-TV that she “heard a pop” told her friends to “get down” before rushing out of the arena. Police arrived around 10:23 p.m. and the victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. But a Memphis rapper named CEO Jizzle confirmed the next day that he was the one shot and said insisted on social media that he was feeling “good.” Lil Baby wrote Friday night on Instagram: “Due to the unforeseen events that took place in Memphis last night, I was not able to give my fans a full performance.” He added that fans will get full refunds.
