Timbaland, Swizz Beatz To Be Honored At BET Hip Hop Awards

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland will be honored with the Rock The Bells Cultural Influence Award at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards next week. LL Cool J, the founder and CEO of Rock The Bells, will recognize their cultural contributions, talents and creativity in music and popular culture. The rapper will also team up with Rakim for a tribute performance honoring this year’s I Am Hip Hop Award recipient, Marley Marl. The ceremony takes place at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta and air October 10th on BET. Fat Joe will host, with performances by Offset, DaBaby, Fivio Foreign, GloRilla, Sexyy Red and others. 21 Savage and Cardi B lead the nominations with 12 each, followed by Drake with 9. Burna Boy and DJ Khaled are both up for 7.
