Dua Lipa Wipes Instagram, Fans Predict A New Album On The Way

Dua Lipa fans are predicting that her long-awaited second album is finally coming soon, after noticing a change in her social media profiles. On Monday, she deleted all of her Instagram posts and changed her profile photo to a kaleidoscopic image of her eye. Similar images have also replaced the original thumbnails on her music videos on YouTube. In an interview with New York Times Magazine in August, the singer revealed that the album will be released in 2024. “The album is different – it’s still pop but it’s different sonically, and there’s more of a lyrical theme," she said. "If I told you the title, everything would make sense – but I think we’ll just have to wait.” She added that while she doesn't want to "alienate" fans, her new sound moves away from disco and embraces "1970s-era psychedelia.”
