Kelly Clarkson To Host ‘Christmas In Rockefeller Center’

Kelly Clarkson will host and perform at this year’s Christmas In Rockefeller Center special on NBC. The annual two-hour event airs live November 29th on NBC and Peacock. This marks the 20th anniversary of Clarkson's first Christmas In Rockefeller Center performance, after recently moving her daytime talk show to the iconic NBC headquarters. Today Show anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker and Craig Melvin will also appear with Clarkson for the tree-lighting. Mario Lopez will also host an additional live hour of the special on most NBC local affiliates. Additional musical performers for the Christmas In Rockefeller Center special will be announced at a later date. “I’m so excited to consider this city and Rockefeller Center my new home, and I can’t imagine a better way to kick off Christmas this year than to be a part of this beautiful New York tradition with the lighting of the tree!” Clarkson said in a statement.
