Nicki Minaj Arrested In Amsterdam On Marijuana Charge, Misses Show

Rapper Nicki Minaj was arrested and detained at the Amsterdam airport on Saturday after police found marijuana in her luggage. Dutch authorities stated that Minaj was detained on suspicion of “exporting soft drugs.” Minaj was later released from custody after paying a fine, while documenting her entire experience on her social media accounts. Due to the arrest and detainment, Minaj missed her scheduled show in Manchester, England on Saturday night. That show has already been rescheduled for June 3. “So they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight,” Minaj wrote on X. “I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them & posting everything in real time. I have sooooooooo much video evidence. I’ll have the lawyers & GOD take it from here tho.” Minaj was able to perform her next scheduled show in Birmingham, England on Sunday night.
