In a new interview on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, guitar legend Michael Schenker revealed why he wants no part in the 60th anniversary celebration of the Scorpions set to take place on July 5, 2025, in Hannover, Germany. Schenker played with the Scorpions on their debut album, Lonesome Crow, when he was only 16-years-old, and rejoined the hard rock legends for their 1979 album, Lovedrive. But Michael says that he will not take part in the upcoming Scorpions celebration due to his brother Rudolf Schenker being a “bully.” “I just know that I have been a very big part of creating Rudolf as a musician. I don’t think without me, he would have been there, and maybe the other way around the same way,” Michael says. “But the thing is that I have to protect myself from Rudolf. Every time he wants to do something with me or every time they wanna do something big and they need my name, he misuses me.” (American Songwriter)
