Ozzy Osbourne Claims He Once Drank “28 Gallons Of Booze” Over Christmas Holidays

In a new article in The Sun, Ozzy Osbourne opened up about how difficult the Christmas season has been on him over the years, and how he used to cope with his holiday depression by drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. “I f—ing hate Christmas. It gets right up my ars**ole,” the 76-year-old heavy metal legend admits. “When I used to do booze and get f—d up, I bought a barrel with 28 gallons of booze for me. I drunk it before it was Christmas f—ing Eve.” A 28 gallon barrel equates to roughly 224 pints of either ale or alcohol, a toxic amount of booze for only one person to consume over the holiday season. Thankfully, Ozzy got his alcohol abuse under control years ago, with the Prince of Darkness previously admitting that Alcoholics Anonymous got him “sorted out to a certain degree” and he has been sober for years. And based on his recent Instagram photo, he is handling the Christmas holiday season a lot better these days. (People)
