Jelly Roll‘s 2025 plans took an unexpected turn when Post Malone invited him to open for his Big Ass Stadium Tour. Jelly initially planned to take a step back from music in the new year in order to focus on other creative projects, but ultimately the country star couldn’t refuse Post’s offer, and the plans materialized quickly. “It didn’t even seem real how fast the tour came together,” Jelly Roll told Nashville Lifestyles. “Post hit me and was like, ‘We should tour,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m always in, anytime.’ From us agreeing to it, to announcing it was like 12 days, it was crazy.” In addition to supporting Post’s tour, Jelly is set to make his acting debut in the show Fire Country on CBS in April, and will serve as American Idol‘s first-ever Artist in Residence during the show’s spring season.
