On Wednesday (February 19), Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus announced his plans to embark on a book tour that he has dubbed, “An Evening With Mark Hoppus,” in support of his upcoming memoir, Fahrenheit-182. The book, which was co-authored with Dan Ozzi, is set to be released on April 9. Hoppus’ seven-city tour begins in New York City on April 9, and will also include stops in Somerville, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago, El Cajon, and Los Angeles. The book’s synopsis says the memoir will examine “what happens when an angst-ridden kid who grew up in the desert experiences his parents’ bitter divorce, moves around the country, switches identities from dork to goth to skate punk, and eventually meets his best friend who just so happens to be his musical soulmate.” Tickets for Hoppus’ book tour are currently available for pre-sale, with general on-sale beginning on February 21.
