Oasis have confirmed that a new film will capture the festivities surrounding their upcoming reunion tour. The movie will be created and produced by Peaky Blinders‘ writer Steven Knight, with Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace directing. The directors were also responsible for LCD Soundsystem’s 2012 concert film Shut Up and Play the Hits, as well as the 2022 NY music documentary, Meet Me in the Bathroom. Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher previously denied a possible reunion documentary, writing on X, “We’re not doing 1. I’m not gonna be in it anyway I’m doing the gigs there’s been enough said about this band it’s time to get Rocking and Rolling not yapping and scrapping.” The film will be produced by Magna Studios and distributed by Sony Music Vision, though it has no confirmed title, release date, or format at this time. Oasis Live ‘25 reunion tour launches on July 4 in Cardiff, with a North American leg kicking off on August 24 in Toronto. (Rolling Stone)
