A Springfield man was arrested early Tuesday for allegedly damaging an ATM with an excavator stolen from a nearby construction site.
Springfield Police arrested Thomas Bowman at about 1:15 a.m. at the scene near Ninth Street and Converse Avenue.
Police said no money was taken, but the damaged ATM was removed.
