Massey Commission Responds to Motion Filed by Sean Grayson’s Attorneys

The Massey Commission says it has not sponsored activities in Peoria similar to events it has held in Springfield.

Attorneys for Sean Grayson filed a motion in Sangamon County court on Wednesday asking that the Massey Commission be prohibited from holding public forums in Peoria, where Grayson’s trial for the murder of Sonya Massey has been moved.

A statement from the Massey Commission says that while it has not conducted activities in Peoria, it appreciates Change Peoria’s efforts to promote transparency and equity.
