Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher has announced an added method of community engagement with plans for a Community Connections event in each ward.
The mayor and each alderperson will host an event in each ward with senior city staff members.
Previously announced efforts to expand community engagement included open houses at city agencies and an online City Navigator tool at the city website, springfield.il.us
