Gasoline prices in the Springfield area dropped slightly from a week ago according to Triple-A. The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in Springfield today is $3.30, down about two cents from a week ago.
The average local price is about nine cents higher than a month ago. The average price in Illinois is $3.46, down about one cent from a week ago.
