A section of 11th Street is scheduled to close on Thursday as water main relocation continues for the Springfield Rail Improvement Project.
City Water, Light and Power reports 11th Street between Reservoir Street and North Grand Avenue is expected to be closed four weeks with completion about November 10.
The city is moving 2,000 feet of 24-inch water main as part of the North Grand Avenue phase of the rail project.
