The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place mid-afternoon on Thursday.
According to authorities they were dispatched to a residence in the 3000 block of Hoover Avenue for a report of a shooting inside the home at 2:34p.
When Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene, they located three victims deceased at the scene.
The incident remains under an active investigation.
