Limp Bizkit paid a heartfelt tribute to their late bassist Sam Rivers during their first show since his passing, performing at Mexico City’s Estadio Fray Nano on Saturday night (November 29). An emotional video honoring Rivers, featuring messages like “our brother forever,” played before the band embraced as the crowd chanted his name. Drummer John Otto also shared a touching tribute to his late bandmate on Instagram shortly before the show. “Today is going to be tough,” Otto wrote, while praising Rivers as “the godfather to my girls, my best friend – my brother. There will never be another you. We’re going to honor the life you lived and the love you spread with every show we play. You’ll always be with us. This one’s for you Sammy.” Richie Buxton, from Limp Bizkit’s opening act Ecca Vandal, is filling in on bass as the band continues their South American tour. (Billboard)
