The City of Springfield is going ahead with its plan on installing EV charging stations within the city.
Thanks to some state funds, the Office of Public Utilities will begin installing Level 2 chargers.
The Springfield City Council has set the rate at about 26 cents per kilowatt. That rate could be adjusted later based on how much the chargers are used.
