The City of Springfield is teaming up with the Office of Community Relations to launch the Springfield Minority Business Institute next month.
The program is a multi-week educational one that aims to support minority-owned businesses and nonprofit organizations through targeted instruction, resource access, and networking opportunities.
The program will run on Wednesdays from February through March, with classes from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., concluding with a graduation ceremony on April 1, 2026, at the University of Illinois Springfield.
