As work on a new state budget continues during the final week of the spring legislative session, State Senator Steve McClure told WMAY’s Patrick Pfingsten on PM Springfield that he and fellow Republican minority lawmakers are waiting on what the majority Democrats are working out.
McClure said he’s frustrated by the proposal to expand the Bank of Springfield Center and build a downtown hotel when the Wyndham Springfield City Centre hotel remains shuttered.
