The new chairman of the Illinois Republican Party says breaking the Democrat’s supermajority hold on the state will take time.
Illinois Republicans last week voted in Bob Grogan to replace Kathy Salvi to lead the state party.
Grogan told WMAY’s Patrick Pfingsten on PM Springfield that the road to Republican prominence in Illinois is long.
Grogan was DuPage County auditor from 2008 to 2020.
