Springfield public works crews will begin its branch pickup program two weeks early due to last week’s storms.
Crews are already collecting branches and storm debris throughout the city.
Branches are to be placed in the right-of-way between curb and sidewalk with piles no larger than what would fit in the bed of a pickup truck.
Residents may continue to drop off branches at Evans Recycling on J. David Jones Parkway after the curbside pickup ends.
