Decatur Police are investigating a shots fired incident that took place early Saturday morning.
Police responded to the BP Hotspot in the 1100 block of West Eldorado Street after gunshots were reported in the area around 4:15 a.m.
When police arrived they found 45 shell casings on the east side of a Hardee’s parking lot.
No injuries were reported but a house in the area was hit by gunfire. The investigation is ongoing.
