National Night Out activities are planned throughout the area tonight in the annual event to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and their communities.
A variety of activities are planned for at least 15 locations throughout Springfield. A list can be found on the city website and at WMAY.com.
The Springfield City Council meeting has been moved to Wednesday evening.

• Westminster Presbyterian – Historic Westside: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
• Johnson Park: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
• Madison Park Place: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
• Twin Lakes: 5:30–7:30 p.m.
• Trevi Gardens: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
• Hawthorne Place: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
