A 15-month-old girl is on life support and a 20-year-old man is charged in Christian County in connection with her injuries. Braxton Williamson was arrested on Tuesday and charged with aggravated battery to a child. No hometown was provided.
The Christian County sheriff’s office said it received a 911 call to an undisclosed location on Friday evening for an infant injured in a fall. Investigators said a fall could not have caused all of the toddler’s injuries.
The girl’s mother told Newschannel 20 that the girl, Ivory Brogden, is on life support to donate her organs on Friday. The Christian County sheriff’s office and Sangamon County Coroner’s office are investigating.
