Sharon Osbourne said doctors told her late husband his last performance with Black Sabbath would kill him and he went ahead with it anyways.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Sharon says six doctors warned the family Ozzy’s health was so fragile he shouldn’t perform.
In true Ozzy fashion, he told his family he knew he was dying and wanted to go out this way. The legendary rocker passed away on July 22 — just 17 days after the ‘Back To The Beginning’ concert in Birmingham, England.
A documentary about his final performance titled ‘Ozzy & Black Sabbath – Back To The Beginning’ is scheduled to hit theaters October 28.
Slash says Guns N’ Roses are putting together a “mini-set” for the upcoming Aerosmith & Friends shows at the Hollywood Bowl.
Slash confirmed that the group will play Aerosmith material along with at least a couple of their own songs — although the final set hasn’t been locked down.
The shows are set for October 29 and November 1.
