On Wednesday, October 14, Woodward Community Media stations 98.7 WNNS, 104.5 WFMB, and 99-7 CVS broadcast live from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Heartland Credit Union on W. White Oaks Drive in support of the Hygiene Drive benefiting the Central Illinois Foodbank.
Community members stopped by throughout the day to donate much-needed personal care items including body wash, toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, and other hygiene items. Cash donations were also accepted to support the effort. Donations like these help ensure families throughout Central Illinois have access to everyday essentials.
Woodward Community Media is proud to support initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Events like the Hygiene Drive showcase the generosity of Central Illinois residents and the impact that can be made when local businesses, organizations, and community members work together toward a common goal.
