Macoupin County employees exposed to virus; courthouse closed for cleaning

The Macoupin County Courthouse in Carlinville was closed for professional cleaning Thursday and Friday after a person who had been there April 30 and May 1 tested positive for coronavirus.The Macoupin County Public Health Department ordered the cleaning, according to a statement issued by 7th Circuit Chief Judge Eric Pistorious.“It is reasonably expected that the courthouse will reopen on Monday, May 11th,” he wrote.The health department, in an […]
