JOHN LEGEND ANNOUNCES TITLE & RELEASE DATE OF NEW ALBUM: John Legend announced that his upcoming album is titled Bigger Love, and will be released on June 19th. He also premiered the music video for the title track, directed by Mishka Kornai. “This video was made to celebrate our shared love, hope and resilience,” John said about the video. “We’re all using technology to stay in touch and finding creative ways to cope and we wanted the video to be a big musical hug for people around the world who are finding ways to stay connected to family, help their neighbors, and make time for a needed dance break despite the crazy circumstances we find ourselves in.”

MAROON 5 POSTPONES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR TO 2021: Maroon 5 is rescheduling their 2020 tour to summer 2021 due to the pandemic. The tour was initially slated to begin May 30th in Chula Vista, California, and end September 17th in Tampa, Florida. Maroon 5 said tickets for the tour will remain valid and be honored for the new dates. Information about the rescheduled dates will be announced soon.

KATY PERRY BARES BABY BUMP IN ‘DAISIES’ MUSIC VIDEO: Katy Perry has released a video for her song “Daisies.” The video opens with Perry singing in a field of flowers. The pregnant singer later strips down and bares her baby bump. “Daisies” is an empowering track about perseverance and being yourself. Perry, who is expecting her first child with actor Orlando Bloom, said she hopes the song “will be the soundtrack to going for your dreams now… especially the ones we left behind.” “Daisies” is the first single from Perry’s forthcoming fifth studio album, known as KP5, due out August 14th.

JONAS BROTHERS RELEASE ‘X’ WITH KAROL G, ‘FIVE MORE MINUTES’: The Jonas Brothers officially released the singles “X” featuring Columbian singer Karol G and “Five More Minutes” on Friday. “X” plays in the credits of the Jonas Brothers’ Amazon concert film Happiness Continues, released in April. The song is a flirty track about hitting it off with someone new. The Jonas Brothers previewed “Five More Minutes” during their Grammys performance in January. In the song, the group asks for more time with a loved one. The Jonas Brothers released canceled their Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
