August was a wonderful month for adoptions and rescues at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. 123 animals found their way to new families or rescues! Let’s keep the success story going in September.
Our first Wet Nose Wednesday star for September is a friendly boy who has been waiting since April to meet his new family. Deuce is a good natured 5 year old who was surrendered by his owner. He walks pretty nicely on a leash and waits patiently in his kennel for attention from potential adopters. Just take a look at his adorable face in the video. This cutie has been passed by for 5 months.
If you’re looking for a nice adult dog to join your family, Deuce may be the guy for you. Please come meet him and all of the other great dogs available for adoption at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. They’re waiting to meet you Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-3:15. THE ADOPTION FEE FOR DOGS AND PUPPIES IS $50.00!
Thanks to Illinois Presbyterian Home Communities for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
