Wet Nose Wednesday: Lupin

By John Spalding Nov 22, 2023 | 10:03 AM

Happy Thanksgiving! The Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are so grateful for the love and support shown for the homeless pets of Sangamon County. Thank you!

Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is a really wonderful dog who is so deserving of a loving home. Lupin is a four year old Carolina Dog. He came to SCACAC on October 1st as part of a cruelty confiscation. Lupin can be a little timid at first but after a few minutes he is friendly and trusting.  Lupin is a leaner, happy to sit down and lean into his person. He’s a laid back guy, very easy to walk on a leash. Despite coming from a terrible situation Lupin is going to be a wonderful family dog. Will you please give him a chance? HIS ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $50.00.
The kennels at SCACAC are still over capacity with great dogs waiting for their forever homes. The facility will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday so please see us on Saturday from 9:00-1:00.
Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15.
Thanks to Illinois Presbyterian Home Communities for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
